Orbital Dynamics Inc., a leading aerospace components supplier, faced major bottlenecks in its thermal processing division. The project focused on engineering a custom vacuum furnace system capable of executing complex, multi-stage thermal profiles with sub-degree accuracy.

The main challenge was controlling extreme thermal stress on satellite thruster nozzles during cooling. Rapid cooling often caused micro-fissures, while slow cooling delayed production, making precise and uniform heat control critical across the furnace chamber.

Our solution combined a 12-zone heating architecture, dynamic cooling protocols, and SCADA integration. Together, these systems improved temperature uniformity, reduced processing risk, enabled real-time monitoring, and supported aerospace compliance reporting.
